Williston Animal Group (WAG) cannot accept stray animals directly due to legal and jurisdictional requirements. By law, stray dogs must first be processed through an official city or county authority—typically animal control or a municipal shelter—so that proper holding periods, lost reports, and potential owner claims can be handled. This ensures all animals are given a fair chance to be reunited with their families. Once that process is complete, WAG may be able to pull adoptable dogs from these shelters into our care.

There is a crisis in Sheltering and Rescue right now. Adoptions are down. Surrenders and unintentional litters are at an all time high. Our Facility is full and we have a waiting list for dogs needing a place to go. We may not be able to take your dog at this time, but would like to provide some advice and instruction on how to find a new home for your pet.
ALL DOGS WILL BE EVALUATED CAREFULLY BEFORE WE AGREE TO TAKE THEM.
